The company

TOPP ITALIA was established in 1956 out of the desire of the the German Topp family who were the first in the world, in 1945, , to industrialise the production of bias tapes, which up to then were only made by hand.
The company quickly became became the Italian leader in the tapes and trimmings market market for the clothing, footwear, home textiles, furnishing and car interiors sector, with an average 40 million metres produced each year.
All the design and production phases were created created in the laboratory in Bassano Bresciano, where 40 highly qualified masters work each day to perfect and create items requested requested by the style offices all around Europe./strong>

Every 6 months, TOPP Italia presents collections that encompass the most advanced proposals-fashion in the tapes and trimmings sector. New items are designed by the internal Research and Development Officethat also directs the choices of textile and materials purchased to best interpret trends and latest lifestyles. TOPP ITALIA offers its clients the possibility of creating their items by choosing from 150 textiles and thousands of prints and colours colours from its warehouse or using the clients’ own textiles.

Since our foundation Topp Italia has been part of the German group TOPP TEXTIL, a leader in the European fashion accessories market with four distribution plants in Germany, Italy and Romania. For over 70 years, TOPP’s name has been synonymous with bias tapes and is the reference point for many clients who trust us with searching for and perfecting new solutions for their garments.
